10 New WhatsApp Features 2020

 1) WhatsApp Payment

1) Open any chat on WhatsApp and select the 'attachment' icon. 

2) Click on 'Payment' and add the money you want to send to the person. A user can also add a note.

 3) To finish the payment process on WhatsApp, you will have to enter your UPI PIN. 

4) After you finish you transaction, you will get a confirmation message

2) Mute Always

1) To mute a chat forever, open the chat, tap on the menu option on the top right and select Mute notifications. 

2) You will see the three options there with the last one being 'Always'. Select it and press Ok.

3) You can also select Show notifications if you want to just see notifications without an alert.

3) New Wallpaper

That latest WhatsApp update brings improved wallpapers and sticker search to the Facebook-owned app used by over 2 billion people.

The most notable change is custom chat wallpaper backgrounds. 

4) Disappearing Messages

You can send messages that disappear on WhatsApp by enabling disappearing messages. Once enabled, new messages sent in the individual or group chat will disappear after seven days. The most recent selection controls all messages in the chat. This setting won’t affect messages you previously sent or received in the chat. In an individual chat, either user can turn disappearing messages on or off. In a group chat, only group admins can turn disappearing messages on or off.

1) In order to use the Advanced Search feature, users need to tap on the search icon on the top bar and initiate a search. 

2) WhatsApp will show search results from chat history and also bring options to search the same keyword for photos, links, and videos.

Group calling allows up to eight participants to voice call with each other using WhatsApp for free. Voice calling uses your phone’s internet connection rather than your mobile plan’s minutes. Data charges may apply. When you receive a group voice call, the incoming WhatsApp group voice call screen will show the participants currently on the call, and the first contact listed will be the participant that added you. Group voice call history will appear in the CALLS tab. You can tap the call history to view the individual participants from the call.

8) WhatsApp Dark Mode

Tap on the three dots located on the top right corner of the left window, where all your contacts are showing up. * Tap on the 'Settings' option. * In the settings panel, tap on the 'Theme' option. * In the new option Window, tap on Dark, to enable the Dark Mode theme.

9) Animated Stickers

WhatsApp recently rolled out its new animated stickers feature to all of its users. 

This feature allows users to send animated cartoonish stickers, similar to Hike Messenger, to their contacts. These animated stickers according to the company allow users to express their feelings in a better way

10) Multi Device Support

WhatsApp has been working on introducing multi-device support on its platform for quite some time now. In the past, reports have said that users will be allowed to use the same WhatsApp accounts on four different devices at the same time and that the main device won’t be required to have an active internet connection. Now, a new report by WABetaInfo says that WhatsApp has been testing how calls will work for the same account between different devices. That said, there is no word on the release date of this feature just yet.
