Asus ZenFone 8 Specifications, Launch Date, Features

 Asus ZenFone 8 is coming with 16GB RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Asus ZenFone 8 series will be listed on May 12th, this series of smartphones has many leaks. The series will show two phones: Asus ZenFone 8 and Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, the latter will be equipped with a back cover. 

Rotating cameras like ASUS 6Z rotate to become front cameras. The vanilla Asus ZenFone 8 will not include a rotating mechanism. It is rumored that both phones use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 processor. 

El Asus ZenFone 8, previously a mini model, claims that Asus ZenFone 8 comes with Android 11-based ZenUI 8 software and has a 5.9-inch display. Samsung E4 Full-HD + AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate. 

The speed and protection of Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with 16 GB RAM. The internal storage should be 256 GB UFS 3.In terms of cameras, Sharma claims that the Asus ZenFone 8 may include a triple rear camera with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main sensor, a 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor and another macro lens. 

Camera functions include EIS, 8K video recording at 120 frames per second and 4K slow motion recording. On the front, the phone is tilted to take a 12-megapixel selfie camera.

According to reports, Asus ZenFone 8 is equipped with a 4000 mAh battery that supports 30 W fast charging. The connection options are said to include support for 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and FM radio. Port C and 3.5 mm audio jack. It is designed to support high-quality audio playback and has a linear vibration motor. 

The insider also revealed that there is a fingerprint scanner under the display of the phone. 0.5 x 8.9 mm and weighs about 169 grams.

According to reports, there are 3 microphones on board, and it is expected that the phone will be equipped with 2 speakers and support Nokia's OZO audio technology. The ASUS ZenFone 8 series will be released at 7:00 pm on May 12. CEST (10:30 PM Eastern Standard Time). The microsite hints that the phone will be launched in Berlin, New York and Taipei. It is not clear when the lineup will start in India.
